I was surprised to learn that this play opened several years ago on London's West End. I thought it had been developed for Broadway.
I managed to get some War Horse tickets NYC earlier this year, and I was quite impressed. The puppetry was amazing! I looked up the Handspring Puppet Company to see how they did it. You should see this before your go see the movie. While you're at it, get some Wicked theatre tickets, too. You'll enjoy it, I guarantee.
